Upcoming runs that some at University are aiming for are this Sunday's Melbourne half-marathon and then the City 2 Surf in Sydney.
University was well-represented across the three distances on the Gold Coast.
Among the many highlights was John McGrath racing in his 30th marathon. McGrath and wife Jenny both ran the 42km distance. It was Jenny McGrath's fifth marathon.
University clubmates Madeleine Evely, Cath and Jess Pethybridge contested their first marathon.
Stacey Lonsdale raced on the Gold Coast for the first time and at the half-marathon distance for just the second time.
Shelley Tuohey ran in the 10km, but will be sidelined from running for several months after a knee reconstruction.
