Some of Australia’s top chances for gold include Eaglehawk’s cycling star Glenn O’Shea, Ironbark rifle shooting champion Geoff Grenfell, and Bendigo netball ace Caitlin Thwaites.
Other central and northern Victorian athletes bound for Glasgow include hammer thrower Tim Driesen, badminton aces Glenn Warfe and Jeff Tho, netballer Julie Corletto, mountain biker Peta Mullens, and clay target ace Emma Cox.
The Glasgow Games run until August 3.
