Eaglehawk clubs nominated for award

THE Y Service Clubs of Eaglehawk has been nominated for a Regional Achievement and Community Award.

The annual awards encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions individuals, communities and businesses are making throughout regional and rural Victoria.

In particular, the clubs established the Peter Krenz Leisure Centre, which consists of a skating rink, basketball court, gymnasium and a meeting room.

Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an Awards Gala Presentation on October 24.
