BTA resident coach Stephen Storer said the players enjoyed an extraordinary week.
"A fantastic tennis program was put in place by head coach John Birrell, father of Kimberly Birrell who played at the Wimbledon juniors a fortnight ago, Gavin Vickers and Terry Saunders," said Storer.
"The weather was sunny and 20 degrees each day.
"The children had five hours of intense training. On court training for four hours was followed by a one hour fitness session on the Gold Coast beaches.
"To keep a balance the children took time to visit Wet n Wild and Movie-World during the week."
It was the seventh time a junior tennis squad from Bendigo travelled to the Gold Coast.
"It's a golden opportunity for the children to develop their games," said Storer.
"The children use the week to launch into the remainder of the tennis year in a positive manner with a host of tournaments and pennant tennis coming up at the Bendigo Tennis Association complex.
