The Mount Pleasant team fought on to score a 47-49 victory in Saturday's clash on Elmore's court.
Mounts coach Anthea Griffin said it was a great win considering the circumstances.

"We are just lucky to have some depth.
"Hopefully all of the players we have out can come back into the team in the next two to three weeks and be right for finals."
Ladder-leaders North Bendigo continued its unbeaten run continued with a massive 83 goal victory over Heathcote.
The final score was 96 to 13.
Bulldogs shooter Rebecca Smith shot 82 goals for the match.
North Bendigo coach Tamara Gilchrist said it was important for her team to continue to work hard.
"We need to play with the same intensity regardless of who we are playing," she said.
North Bendigo will chase 13 in a row next round.
In Saturday's play, Lockington-Bamawm also defeated Leitchville-Gunbower, 46 to 29, and Colbinabbin won against Huntly, 54 to 18.
