Jones plays off a handicap of two and will be joined in the 36-hole Ivo Whitton event by some of Victoria's best amateur golfers.
Players from prestigious clubs Metropolitan, Southern, Heritage, Sanctuary Lakes, 13th Beach will take on some of central Victoria's best players.
Bendigo Golf Club's Ian Frost, Brent Rothacker and Geoff Viney and Neangar Park's Kurtis Lynch and Tom King will spearhead the local assault on the title.
The women's event has also attracted a strong field.
Neangar Park's Janelle Brown and Tahlia Holmberg and Bendigo's Jenni and Kristi Bilkey and Carmel Bourne will tee-off in the event.
Late entries are still being taken for the event. To enter, phone the Bendigo Golf Club on 5448 4878. Morning groups will assemble at 7.30am for an 8pm start.
