More than 500 A5 drawings have been on display at Bendigo Railway Station - as part of Artist in Transit - which opened on June 23.
The works were given away to the general public on Friday last week.
"I think that is a really important part of the project," artist Julie Andrews said.
"It's about sharing and connecting without judgement."
She said while some of the sketches were drawn by artists, there was a huge variety of artworks on display.
"I had people telling me they had never drawn anything since they were in primary school," she said.
