The Hawks have included the Gold’s Matthew Farrelly and Jesse Collins for the contest at Canterbury Park, while the Bloods have named Gold skipper Steven Stroobants and Liam Byrne.
“Stroobs is the captain of the Gold and a best and fairest winner with us, so it’s fantastic to have him this week,” Bloods co-coach Peter Tyack said on Friday.
“And Liam Byrne has come right through the juniors at our club.
“To get them back this Saturday will be a real boost to the rest of the guys.”
Meanwhile, it will be the clash of the Bendigo Football League’s magpies on Saturday when Maryborough and Castlemaine lock horns at Barkers Oval Princes Park.
Castlemaine will be spurred on by the disappointment of last week’s two-point loss to Kangaroo Flat when it had a chance after the siren to win.
Meanwhile, Maryborough will be on the rebound from a 91-point hiding from Gisborne, but before that had won its previous two games at home.
Both sides enter the game with 2-9 records.
