A Bendigo consortium had worked tirelessly to create a team that could provide a pathway for players and support staff into the state's premier netball competition.

Everyone involved should be congratulated for their initiative and spirit in trying to get this team rolling.

It's encouraging to see that while disappointed, the consortium is determined to continue working with Netball Victoria to ensure they are front of the queue next time a licence comes up for grabs.

We can only hope Netball Victoria sees fit to reward such determination and dedication when that time comes.
