ENGLAND'S Judd Trump has won through to the quarter-finals of the $500,000 Australian Snooker Goldfields Open in Bendigo.

The tournament's No. 3 seed, Trump scored a 5-3 victory in Thursday afternoon's match against Alan McManus at Bendigo Stadium.
Trump's triumph began by winning the opening three frames - 70-33, 64-61 and 76-13.
The next two frames went in favour of McManus, 13-82 and 0-100.
Trump struck back to win the next, 69-26, but McManus stayed in the title race by winning the seventh frame, 70-51.
A match-high break of 107 stitched up overall victory for Trump.
Trump will next face the winner of the Martin Gould and Ricky Walden match being played on Thursday afternoon.
Walden holds a 2-1 lead.
In Thursday night's matches, Mark Davis takes on Shaun Murphy, and Australian star Neil Robertson faces Jamies Jones.
The night session hits off at 7pm at Bendigo Stadium in Marong Road.
