A passionate player with Colts United in the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League, Mr Wheadon is committed to his club - having taken on the responsibility of senior coordinator.
"Basically I assist with anything and everything," he said.
"From drawing lines (on the pitch) on mornings of matches, to organising social events - there is lots to do."
Mr Wheadon said he joined the team when he was 17 years old and has grown to love the club like family.
He said players were required to volunteer their time or face paying a $50 fee.
"We like everyone to give a little bit her and there," he said.
"If you are not prepared to help out around the club, then you pay.
"It is a value of our club we like to hold high and instill in all our members."
Mr Wheadon said he loved soccer and was blessed to part of Colts United.
"It really is a great club to be part of," he said.
