The ladder-leading North Bendigo answered a strong first-half by White Hills to win Saturday's match on the Demons court by 15 goals.
Scores were 17-all at half-time of the match at Tint-A-Car Oval in Scott Street.
North Bendigo upped its play in all thirds of the court.
The red, white and blue won the final term, 14-4, and the match, 41-26.
Second-placed Colbinabbin teamed brilliantly on the Strauch Reserve court in Huntly to beat Mount Pleasant by 38 goals.
The Grasshoppers won 61-23.
Sixth-placed Leitchville-Gunbower kept the heat on the fifth-placed Lockington-Bamawm United.
The LG Bombers won 51-14 at Heathcote.
After leading by just five goals at three quarter-time, Lockington-Bamawm United broke away in the last to win 36-23 at Elmore.
The competition's top two, North Bendigo and Colbinabbin clash in this Saturday's round on the Bulldogs' court at Superior Roofing Oval in Atkins Street.
Meanwhile, there were some high-scoring A-grade matches in the Loddon Valley netball competition on Saturday afternoon.
The YCW Eagles soared to a 54-goal win against Marong at Backhaus Oval.
YCW won 77-23 on its court.
Calivil United dominated play at Inglewood.
A red-hot Demons team fired in the cool conditions to win 77-23.
Closest match of the round for A-grade was at Mitiamo where Pyramid Hill beat the Superoos by 11 goals.
Newbridge scored a 42-18 win against Bears Lagoon-Serpentine at Riverside Park.
In this Saturday’s play, Calivil United hosts YCW, Bridgewater takes on Newbridge, Marong clashes with Mitiamo, and BL-Serpentine faces Inglewood.
