Looking to improve on its third spot from last year's tournament the team includes a team of 18 talented golfers from across the region.
Lucas Herbert, Kurtis Lynch, Phillip Dearaugo, Nic Blake, Timmy Daykin, Anthony Masters and Tom King from Neangar Park.
Belvoir Park's Ben Tatt, Eric Barclay and Ray Tatt.
Axedale's Marcus Gill, Hayden Nielsen and Lex Johnstone.
Bendigo's Brent Rothacker and Ian Frost.
Heathcote's Liam Anderson, Castlemaine's Johnny Howorth and Kyneton's Paul Robinson are selected in the extended squad.
The first day of play at the Country Championships will be on October 1.
Bendigo will compete against Peninsula, Ballarat, West Gippsland, Corangamite and Murray Darling.
Players will play 36 holes at the Victoria Golf Club and then on the second day play 36 holes at the Keysborough Golf Club and then on the final day, players will play 18 holes at the Long Island Golf Club.
The squad will be cut down to 12 players in the coming months, with selection committee looking at players results during the BDGA pennant season, which will begin on August 10.
The BDGA is also running a fundraising sportsman's night for the country week squad on July 11 at the Foundry Arms Hotel.
Guest speakers include Dean Jones and Doug Hawkins.
