Australia lose final pool match

AFTER leading by six points mid-way through the first quarter Australia lost to the Netherlands at the IWBF Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championships on Wednesday. 

The Gliders battled hard against the world number three team, but were unable to match it with them in the final quarter. 

The Netherlands eventually winning 47 to 38. 

Harcourt's Shelley Chaplin scored five points in her 12 minutes of court time. 

The Australian's have now played against all of its pool round opponents, winning against Peru, Mexico and France.
