The Kangaroo Flat athlete finished on the podium with Jesse Thomas from the United States finishing first and Canadian Trevor Wurtele in second.
Griffin finished the race in 4 hours, 5 minutes and 20 seconds.
He will now have a mid-season break after competing in three races in as many weeks.
After his break he will turn his attention to the World Championships also at Mont Tremblant in September.
Griffin said the weekend's race was a good chance to familiarise himself with the course.
