The charity is on target to reach the million kilogram mark - the equivalent of distributing more than two million meals to vulnerable people in central Victoria.
Administration and donations manager Fay Barrett said it had been a busy 12 months.
"The million kilograms was a goal I set last year, a challenge for myself, and this week we're going to achieve it," she said.
"We're forever looking for people, factories or food producers who have anything which is in excess of what they need, that's close to a use-by-date or that's just not very popular on the shelves - we're the place (to donate).
"We can help you, we can collect it and at the end of the day we also give you tax relief.
"It's a donation."
About 14,000 people receive support from Foodshare each month.
Foodbank Victoria delivered a truck-load of goods to Bendigo Foodshare on Monday morning.
"Recently we did a call out for help with transport and the response was overwhelming," Ms Barrett said.
"I had 85 calls in one day. It was amazing."
