Four Bendigo residents are among 500 students to receive the Australian Vocational Student Prize, which recognises the skill, commitment and achievements of school students who take on vocational education in their final year.
The students were: Ebony Clarke from Bendigo Senior Secondary College, Shanae Finning and Brett Priestley from Castlemaine Secondary College and Lawson Kelsey from Glenvale School's Bendigo campus.
“These students are not just ambassadors for their school but for the first-class career opportunities that high-quality VETiS can provide,” Mr Ronaldson said.
He said the government was committed to providing strong links to industry.
