UPDATE 1pm: A 64-year-old Bendigo woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a car near The Good Guys in Williamson Street, Bendigo.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the woman was taken to Bendigo Health with multiple injuries and was in a critical condition.
The accident happened outside The Good Guys store when the woman was crossing Williamson Street and was hit by a grey sedan turning out of a parking spot.
Police were called to the scene at 12.19pm and two Ambulance Victoria crews arrived shortly after.
Senior Constable Dave Sanders of Bendigo police said the car hit the woman at a slow speed.
He said the male driver, from Marong, had been looking to his left while turning right into Williamson Street when it happened.
The car ran over the woman's legs and pinned her down, Senior Constable Sanders said.
He said alcohol was not a contributing factor in the accident.
EARLIER: A woman has been hit by a car near the The Good Guys in Williamson Street, Bendigo.
Two ambulances are on the scene and emergency crews are treating the woman.
It is believed the car involved was a grey sedan.
The accident happened near the corner of Williamson and McLaren streets.
