In wet and wintry conditions at White Flat Oval in Ballarat, the Dragons fought-hard against the Crusaders but couldn't get on the scoreboard.
After being down by six at half time the Crusaders ran away with the win in the second half.
The final score was 18 to 0.
The Dragons have now dropped to third spot on the men's division one conference A championship at the halfway point of the season.
The Dragons have won four games and lost three, this season.
Bendigo has a bye next week.
The Dragons will be back in action on June 29 when they take on the Northern Raiders at Henry Turner Reserve in Footscray.
The game will be played at 10.30am.
