Celtics player Lauren King lit up the scoreboard, shooting three, three-pointers in her 21 points for the game.
Beavers duo Molly Greetham and Hannah Rifat battled hard, each scoring 11 points, but it wasn't enough.
The two teams were evenly placed but the Celtics scored 12 points to six in the second quarter to set up the win.
The Celtics won 50 to 45.
In the second match the Tigers took on Strathfieldsaye.
Despite being without coach Andrea Walsh, the Tigers were able to score a big win.
The Tigers came out firing in the first quarter, doubling Strathfieldsaye's score at the end of the first quarter.
Tigers trio Alex Bunton, Caitlin Mclachlan and Kerryn Harrington each scoring 19 or more points in the win.
Danielle Markwell also chipped in, shooting three, three-pointers in her 16 points.
Bendigo Spirit star Kelly Wilson scored a game-high 26 points for the Beavers.
The final score was 91 to 55.
It was the second win of the season for the Tigers.
In round four, the Beavers will play the Generals and Strathfieldsaye will take on the Celtics.
Games tip-off at the Bendigo Stadium at 7pm on Tuesday night.
The Tigers have the bye this week.
