Missing panda found in toy store

He's loving, loyal and an excellent listener.

But, unfortunately, he's also forgotten.

Last Friday Mr Good Times specialty toy store, in Bath Lane, discovered a scruffy panda bear at the train table play station.

It seems his owner was having so much fun whizzing wooden trains around a miniature track that he or she forgot to collect their cuddly friend upon leaving.

Retail assistant Rhiannon Berry said while the toy store had taken care of Mr Panda during his time there, she thought he was missing home.

"He still looks a little sad - he needs cuddles," she said.

"I think the owner is probably missing him a lot."

The store has put up a Facebook post, which has been viewed more than 4000 times, calling for the owner to come claim Mr Panda.

Ms Berry described the bear as "a little dirty and rough around the edges", and she said he had likley done a fair bit of travelling over the years.

She said most children who played at the train table were between five and six.

She said the toy had been given pride of place - directly behind the counter - so he would be immediately recognisable should the owner return.

Mr Panda has a distinctive salmon coloured collar.

If he is yours, please call 54421393 or return to the store to collect him. Mr Good Times is an iconic Bendigo toy store.
