A man was last night charged with a number of weapons and driving offences following an incident in Sailors Gully Road, Eaglehawk.

Acting Sergeant Mark Bell said three men were arrested at about 4.30pm after they were found in a car with several weapons, including a knife and a firearm. 

The road was cordoned off until police could ensure public safety and arrest the men.
