Coach Peter Knights named a squad of 39 on Monday, with the squad to be trimmed to 24 for the game against a Victoria metropolitan representative squad at Geelong on July 12.

Gippsland had two players - Luke Collins and Ryan Pendlebury - selected in the squad.
The Goulburn Valley FL had the most representatives with nine, including former South Bendigo forward Justin Maddern.
