In her latest hit-out, Lawson achieved the pre-departure qualifier in the 400m for the IAAF World Junior Championships.
Her time of 55.48 secured her place in the Australian team to compete in Eugene, Oregon. Lawson ran a time of 54.25 in the 400m and 24.05 in the 200m at this year's national junior titles in Sydney.
The world junior titles are on from July 22 to 27 in the United States.
Lawson is coached by Peter Barrett and is a member of South Bendigo AC.
