Findacourse.com.au is the brainchild of friends Adam Goodes and Anthony Scolyer and is a "one-stop-shop" for training courses in Australia.
"The website has been developed by educators with more than 30 years experience in the training sector," Mr Goodes said.
"They understand the difficulties in people finding the right course with so many training providers out there.
"(The website) not only advertises certified courses, short courses and industry specific courses to the public but companies can also sign up to an online portal and receive exclusive courses targeted to employee's needs."
Mr Goodes said the idea for website emerged when he was holidaying with Mr Scolyer and his family in Corowa in November last year.
"We were holidaying with another family and we decided to take the plunge and set about starting a business on how to find a training course," he said.
"We had all worked in the education industry and knew the difficulties faced by people looking to start a course."
Mr Goodes said there were several other online course directory providers but most were focused on TAFE and university courses.
He said his business offered a broad range of courses not industry-specific and targeted a diverse audience.
"We tried to make our website as simple as possible to use," he said.
"It's going really well.
"We have already received lots of hits and had lots of activity on the site."
Mr Goodes said the business would launch several campaigns targeting year 12 students in the coming weeks.
