It will be the first time the the Swifts will play in finals in three years.
The round 13 clash saw the Swifts take on the top New Zealand team the Magic for the first time this season.
The Swifts were too strong winning 55 to 43 in front of their home crowd at Sydney Olympic Park.
The win has now pushed the Swifts into second spot on the ANZ Championships ladder with one game remaining in the season.
They are a game clear of third and fourth spot.
Bendigo shooter Caitlin Thwaites provided a great target for the Swifts, she shot at 81 per cent for the match.
Thwaites and fellow shooter Susan Pratley went head-to-head with the Silver Ferns' best defenders in Leana de Bruin and Casey Kopua.
The Swifts began strongly in the first quarter but the Magic, led by the inform wing attacker Grace Rasmussen continued to fight throughout the game.
In the third quarter, Thwaites shot nine goals to help the Swifts to a nine goal lead.
It was more of the same in the final quarter, with the Swifts again outscoring the Magic to win by 12 goals.
The Swifts will now travel across the Tasman to face the Northern Mystics in their final game of the regular season.
The Melbourne Vixens also had a big win over the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Echuca mid-court player Caitlyn Strachan took to the court in the 64 to 43 win.
The Vixens sit in first place.
