But the round three spotlight will be on them on Saturday when they clash in what is a match between two unbeaten teams.
Royal Park has opened its season with back-to-back wins over Rovers and Maldon to be sitting second on the ladder.
The past two victories have been the first time since rounds 12 and 13, 2007, when they beat Talbot and Dunolly that Bushy has strung together consecutive wins.
Campbells Creek’s 2-0 record has come on the back of wins over Harcourt and Talbot.
Stringing together wins has also been a rarity for the Creekers, who last won multiple games in a row in 2010 when they made a late charge towards the finals with five victories in a row between rounds 13 and 17.
The winner will be set up nicely at 3-0 for a genuine tilt at the finals.
• Avoca will have to be at its best to give itself a chance of notching its first win of the season at home against Lexton.
The Bulldogs have started the season with two 50 point-plus losses to Natte Bealiba and Newstead, while Lexton opened its account last week with a 50-point win over Dunolly and looks far too strong in this contest.
• Newstead travels to Dunolly and should build on its solid start to the season in which it has won its first two games.
Newstead captain Mark Ramsey - a key member of a dominant big-man brigade - was in outstanding form up forward with 11 goals against Avoca last week and poses a major threat to the Eagles.
• Natte Bealiba is at home to Rovers, with both sides coming off defeats.
The Swans look set to welcome back several key players, including Ryan Weir, who kicked four goals in round one.
Last year’s wooden-spooners Rovers gave a good account of themselves against Trentham last week in a nine-point loss where David Popovski was their best player.
• Reigning premier Navarre hosts Talbot, with the impressive Grasshoppers having picked up where they left off last year.
Led by 11 goals from Ashley Driscoll, the Grasshoppers last week thumped Harcourt by 128 points.
The Grasshoppers should be too good for Talbot, although, the Hawks shape as a better side this year than the one that failed to kick a goal against Navarre in their meeting last season.
• Carisbrook should make it two in a row under lights against the battling Harcourt, which is on the bottom of the ladder and has kicked just 13 goals in its two games.
• On Sunday, Maldon is at home to Trentham.
A Saints’ victory would already equal their tally of two wins of last year.
