SANDHURST Butchers Supplies and Home Brew is throwing its support behind the country's firefighters.
The Bridge Street business has placed Thank You Fireys balloons outside its shop in recognition of fire services across the country.
Owner Joanne Stratford said firefighters deserved a day of thanks for their hard work and courageous efforts.
"Firefighters do such a great job and they deserve all the recognition they can get," she said.
"They do a fantastic job and like police officers, they never get the recognition they deserve.
"It is such a small thing we can do for them."
Ms Stratford, who had lived near Marysville before moving to Bendigo, said many of her friends had been touched by Black Friday.
"We had a business in Buxton for four years and we had just sold, and moved to Bendigo," she said.
"We have lots of close friends who were really affected in those fires and the firies - they did a fantastic job.
"It is a great campaign and we are happy to support it."
National Red Balloon Day is on February 28.
If your business is getting behind the campaign, send your photos to madeleine.wines@fairfaxmedia.com.au and the Bendigo Advertiser will put them online.
