This week we had two home games versus Denver and the LA Clippers, and one game on the road at Atlanta.
We’ve won three out of our last four games, so we are heading in the right direction.
On Wednesday we played the Denver Nuggets, who came in on a seven-game winning steak.
It was one of our best games of the season. We played with a good pace and mix of inside/ outside attack and won 98-88.
On Friday we played at Atlanta and went down, 108-89. It wasn’t the best game for us and they took full advantage.
Kyle Korver for the Hawks, broke an NBA record in the game. It was the 90th consecutive game that he hit a three pointer.
That is pretty incredible consistency.
He is about 6’8” and has the quickest release I’ve seen, so it makes him hard to guard.
The next night we took on the Clippers at home. We played a lot better than the night before and got the win 88-82.
Chris Paul is one of the best point guards in the league, especially at controlling the game.
It was good to watch him up close.
A fan ran out on the court in the third quarter which interrupted play.
Everyone was a bit confused about that, but security dragged him away pretty quickly and play resumed.
Earlier that day, I watched a special on NBA TV about Jamal Crawford’s crossovers.
Good thing I was paying attention because I had to guard him for a little during the game that night.
This week we took a visit to the Cleveland Clinic Children’s hospital.
Some of the kids and their families are in a tough situation there, so we tried to spread some holiday cheer and put some smiles on the kids faces.

We had our Cleveland Santa hats on and delivered goodie bags.
@KevRoyal25 - “can you dunk, and would you ever do it on a fastbreak if you got the chance? Just curious.”
Yeah, Kev I can dunk, but I think in a game I’ll keep laying it up for right now, just to be on the safe side.
In my second column, I talked about how Andy Varejao (pictured) took Sergey Karasev and I to a Brazilian restaurant.
The other people were joking that we would get sick of it because he likes to go there so much.
We thought they were joking about that.
I think we have eaten there about three or four more times since then, but Sergey and I still aren’t sick of it, it’s great.
My family is coming over next week, so I can’t wait for that. I think the weather might be a bit of a shock for them though. It has been snowing here this week.
Thanks everyone for the support, I appreciate it. If anyone would like to hear about anything in particular, you can tweet to me @matthewdelly.
Have a great week.
