The Magpies have signed 2008 Bendigo Football League Michelsen medallist Shannon Milward, Cameron Milward, Jesse Smith and Andrew White, who all played with Koondrook-Barham in the Central Murray Football League this year.
The Milward brothers are premiership players with Eaglehawk, onballer Smith played two AFL games for Carlton in 2006, while White is a former Mornington-Peninsula inter-league ruckman.
They join Boort after the Magpies finished sixth this year, winning five games.
Shannon Milward - now a centre half-forward - will be an assistant coach to Rick Easton.
"David Cox (Boort football manager) made a presentation to us as a group and the direction the club is going is something that sat fairly well with us," Milward said on Wednesday.
"They were good enough to beat the top couple of sides last season, but had a horror run with injuries.
"Now they are looking to bring in some players to give them a shot at winning a flag, so we're looking forward to playing with the club.
"The four of us wanted to keep playing together in country footy and it just so happens that what Boort was after is the group of some of us who have been travelling from Melbourne."
