$21 million TattsLotto superdraw.
City Central Newsagency employee Venessa Absalom said a lot of people had already bought tickets during the past week.
“It has been pretty steady,” she said. “This is not the highest jackpot we have had; in times past there have been people who have lined up out the door.”
Miss Absalom said Bendigo was well overdue for a Tattslotto winner.
Tatts spokeswoman Belinda McDougall said that for most Australians their ultimate TattsLotto dream was to pay off their mortgage or buy a family home.
“When we ask TattsLotto winners what they plan to do with their windfall, buying or paying off a home and becoming debt free are the number one responses,” she said.
“Other common answers we get from division one winners include retirement, upgrading the car, taking a much-needed holiday and helping out family or friends.”??
