After finishing runner-up at last year’s worlds in Melbourne and at the London Olympics, Australia got the better of the Brits in Minsk.
The quartet of O’Shea, Alexander Edmondson, Michael Hepburn and Alexander Morgan crossed the line in 3:56.751 for the four-kilometre course.
The team gold medal followed a brilliant individual gold in the omnium for O’Shea in Melbourne last year.
More to follow in tomorrow’s Bendigo Advertiser.
