Trevor John Arthur, 32, was due to face court on January 31 over his alleged part in a five-person drug-trafficking operation that police say brought $500,000 worth of drugs, mainly amphetamine and ecstasy, into Bendigo.
Detective Jason Smith said police believed the father of two was still in the Bendigo area.
Arthur is described as 186cm, with a fair complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.
“We’re asking the public to provide any information as to the whereabouts of Arthur,” Detective Smith said. “We are trying to find his current address and location.”
The other four members of the ring, Michael Underwood, Marco Ravarotto, Paul Rhodes and Arthur’s partner Gail Slywka, have already appeared in court following their arrest in 2009.
The group were arrested after a three-month investigation by police and Australian Customs aimed at reducing the flow of drugs into Bendigo’s nightclubs.
Anyone who knows Mr Arthur’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
