HUNDREDS of students across the Bendigo region were forced awake by alarm clocks this morning, with some schools resuming classes today.

A large number of primary schools opened their doors to students today, while others are scheduled to resume tomorrow and Friday.
While classes at Girton Grammar began today, students at Bendigo Senior Secondary College and the Catholic College Bendigo are not required until February 1.
Weerona College, Bendigo South East College and Crusoe College will start classes on Friday, while Eaglehawk secondary college will not resume until February 1.
Students at Creek Street Christian College are on holidays for the rest of the week and will not resume classes until February 4.
