It saddened me greatly yesterday when I pulled into Safeway Golden Square car park on my way home from work and found a poor distressed dog tied to the back of an open-air ute with no shade, no water, only a hot metal tray to lay on.

Since it was a 40 degree scorcher I can only imagine the owner was inside the airconditioned building, stocking up on supplies to keep cool.
Come on, are we really that irresponsible that this type of cruel needless act needs to go on... Shame on the owner.
