Stephanie Eldridge from Nathalia found a comfortable patch of grass to sit on with her partner Chris and listened to live music by The Woo Hool Revue and Rowan Blackmore.
"It was fantastic," Ms Eldridge said.
"It was so great to see some live music in the park and it was all free which was great.
"I found out about it through the Bendigo Advertiser so it was great to see the local paper promoting it.
"It's such a great initiative."
Last night's event was thanks to the Music in the Parks program which is part of the Summer in the Parks program.
