The Boite is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote community music and encourages people to take part in the arts.
Several musical workshops and concerts will be held in Daylesford over the four-day festival.
Organisers say participants will be introduced to a wide range of vocal styles and techniques.
This year’s line-up includes Spain’s Diego Guerrero and Nasrine Rahmani, adding an international flavour.
Mr Guerrero is a guitarist and Ms Rahmani is percussionist who specialises in Afro-Cuban music.
The festival will open on January 10 with a Sunset Song Circle at Jubilee Lake.
The Daylesford Soul Choir will also perform. Music director Geoffrey Williams said the festival was about getting people out of their comfort zone.
“Often people go into these things wanting to see how far they can stretch themselves, it’s a powerful thing to see,” he said.
Mr Williams said he was looking forward to taking part in his fourth festival.
“It is a fun festival,” he said.
“Our group, the Daylesford Soul Choir, meets every week. We love what we do and are looking forward to performing.”
