A 39-year-old Dunolly man was taken to Maryborough District Hospital with a non life-threatening stab wound to the throat after an altercation with a 55-year-old McIntyre man.
It is believed the incident occurred after the men's dogs had a fight on Broadway.
The 55-year-old has been charged with recklessly causing serious injury and other assaulted related offences.
