Bendigo’s art teachers are putting their work on display this weekend in a group exhibition at Dudley House.

The teachers from Weeroona College, Bendigo Senior Secondary and Crusoe College have named the exhibition Table 15 after the table they were sitting at when they decided to put on the show.
“Each item has a table number,” Crusoe College art teacher Iain Stewart said.
“It’s like a smorgasbord of art.”
The exhibition is a diverse collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photography, with a range of styles and subjects even within each artist’s work.
Mr Stewart said the teachers tried to exhibit regularly and nurture the next generation.
“We’re art teachers but we’re also practicing artists,” he said. “In teaching you can often stop and not practice our craft, so we make an effort every year or so to put on a show.”
Table 15 is showing today and tomorrow from 10am til 4pm.
