The college, in partnership with Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services, has won $30,000 in the NAB Schools First Win award.
The money will be used to buy a new bus.
Twice a week the language centre runs a homework club which helps indigenous and Karen students with their school studies and language skills.
Mardi Holland, co-ordinator of the VCAL English program, said the bus would be used to take students to and from the centre.
“Students learn about career paths and different occupations and the bus will also provide them with the opportunity to experience the workplace, so learning will not just be taught as theory,” Ms Holland said. ??
