Two people were flung off the Charles Grimes Bridge and into the Yarra River after their motorbike crashed in Melbourne this afternoon.

Paramedics were called to Lorimer Street at Docklands at about 1.10pm.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman Ray Rowe said the pair, in their 40s, cleared the bridge rail and were fished out of the river below.
"Both the driver and the passenger were thrown from the motorcycle: one over one side of the bridge and the other over the other side of the bridge.
"They've both become airborne and landed in the Yarra.
"When we pulled in, there'd been some people in a boat and some bystanders who had assisted to get these people out of the water."
The woman suffered leg and upper body injuries and the man sustained leg injuries.
Both were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
