Some are ambitious to yield power, to carry on in a theatrical, majestic manner and enjoy the privileges associated with the office.
They are rising to power by exploiting the low sentiments of one section of people.
Rather than preaching temperance and trying to increase the unity, they are dividing the country further in half.
They are talking about “us on this side of the house” and the “dreadful opposition” (whichever party happens to be that).
They are arguing, booing and calling each other names like little children.
No wonder that people, who may be better qualified for the job, won’t have anything to do with it.
