The fundraising and awareness walk started at 10am today with activities to continue until 2pm.
There's market stalls, a barbecue lunch, farm animals and a jumping castle.
Loddon Mallee Kids president Laura Campbell said about 500 people registered for the walk.
"Last year we had 300 so that's a great result," she said.
World Prematurity Day was celebrated yesterday with Loddon Mallee Kids lighting up the lake.
Landmarks around the world were lit purple to raise awareness of the 15 million babies born prematurely every year.
