A DINGEE man who was allegedly involved in a 10-hour police siege appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates Court yesterday via video link.

Allen Anderson, 46, has been scheduled for a two-day committal hearing beginning January 24 in the Bendigo Magistrates Court.
Anderson faces 30 charges including armed robbery, making a threat to kill, unlawful assault, possession of cannabis and rape.
Allen was arrested in Bridgewater in June, after a 10-hour police siege in the town the day before his arrest. Allen is accused of causing injury to his victim with a metal frying pan, attempting to stab him with a screwdriver and making a threat to kill.
Anderson is charged with assaulting a separate victim in Bridgewater, and an assault on another man in Inglewood. He is also accused of presupposing with the intent to steal at two Bridgewater properties on Serpentine Road, stealing a wallet and an $800 boat, as well as a pair of boots from the Inglewood IGA.
