That is the motto of Bendigo ambassadors for the Rose Revolution, Sam Bowman and Ash Raeburn.
The social media campaign kicks off today and runs until after Valentine’s Day.
El Gordo Cafe is hosting an event from 5pm tonight to mark the occasion.
Cafe owner Oliver Budack has created a tapas-style menu that will accompany the dry, French-style rose on offer.
On the menu will be Mediterranean-influenced food such as chorizo on spoons and charred vegetables.
Mr Bowman and Mr Raeburn have been hosting educational lessons on the different styles of rose on offer around the region.
“A lot of dudes think it’s a girly drink, but we’re really spearheading this for Bendigo and telling people why it’s a great summer drink,” Mr Bowman said.
Bowman Wines released their 2012 Cabernet Rose in September. “It’s going really well,” Mr Bowman said. “A few places have picked it up and started serving it by the glass.”
The pair are organising another function later in the month to celebrate local roses.
Mr Raeburn also said wineries and venues can still register to host a Rose Revolution event by registering online.
