Working collaboratively with the traditional custodians of this historic area is a highly important element of El Questro’s operations as we strive to deliver authentic and culturally enriching experiences.With extensive F&B operations, El Questro offers diverse dining options in each of their accommodation hubs. The restaurants and bar serve modern Australian fare with an emphasis on local and seasonal produce, and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.The RoleA fantastic opportunity is now available at El Questro Wilderness Park for experienced and enthusiastic applicants for the roles of Tour Guides. As a Tour Guide you are central to ensuring our guests experience the very highest levels of service and safety while on our tours. Tour Guides are an integral part of the properties daily operations from transfers in and out of Kununurra to Guided tours; ranging from bird watching, guided gorge walks, boat cruises, 4x4 tours and of course barramundi fishing tours.The successful candidate will possess:*Highly developed Guest Service Skills*Strong Interest in Wildlife & Nature*Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously*Self-motivation*Ability to work a part of a tight knit team*Previous experience with Tour Guiding or within the tourism industry preferable*Demonstrated competency in 4WDing or completion of a 4WD courseQualifications:*Senior First Aid*Manual Driver's License*West Australian F Endorsement- Needs to be obtained prior to season commencing*West Australian MR Licence - Needs to be obtained prior to season commencing*West Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol*Relevant qualification in either Guiding/Environmental/Education is an advantage*Coxswain ticket, highly regardedThis is a remote role, where you will be living and working at El Questro Wilderness Park for the duration of the season.
