Green Light are assisting in delivering projects for an industry leading organisation and have a rare and immediate requirement for a talented Senior Voice Engineer.

Role Description:

The Senior Voice Engineer is responsible for providing onsite and offsite IP voice/UC support for our client’s environment. You are expected to provide exceptional level of service and assistance to rectify and solve issues as they are reported. This will be achieved by your ability to work across a variety of teams to provide high-level technical support for unified communications systems, including an ability to create and maintain network documentation, maintain hardware and software standards.

 
Responsibilities:
 
As Senior Voice Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to continue developing your expertise in working with technologies including Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, Unified IM & Presence, Cisco CMS, Cisco VCS-C, VCS-E and Jabber. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to the latest in technology and to continue learning as we introduce new services and products for our clients.
Requirements of the role:

  • Baseline Clearance or higher required
  • Solid skills in Voice and UC Engineering and technologies (Webex). Including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Cisco CUBEs, Cisco VCS, Cisco unified attendant console, UCCX- Cisco contact centre express, Cisco - CCNA, CCNP or CCVP, Cisco VCS qualified.
  • Hands-on experience building, maintaining, using, and troubleshooting Cisco UC Platforms, Cisco Network Platforms and Cisco Telepresence Platforms (MS Teams, Avaya, CISCO, IPFX, Genesys)
  • Knowledge experience with virtual environments (VMWare, AWS) configuring gateways, dial plans, handsets, and headsets
  • Experience deploying VOICE and UC solutions with a strong understanding of VoiP, SIP and SIP trunking (Centralised, Local)
  • Experience working with TCP/IP, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and security
  • Experience in Voice/UC architecture and solution design
  • Understanding of emerging Voice and UC technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical design documentation and presenting solution options to clients
  • You will be a team player, who is passionate about research and analysis, developing exceptional working relationships and driving business value.
