A little bit about the team and the role…
As Senior Product Manager, your role sits within the FinX tribe where our landscape is complicated, but our direction is clear - we are looking to help our consumers get into their dream home by connecting the finance and property journeys together, to surface personalised and viable financing options. In short, we are here to help consumers actually understand how they can purchase the property and to take action.
While no two days are the same, you can expect to deliver on the following…
Drive the roadmap which connects our leads to a broker
Run experiments to help us build sophisticated lead allocation algorithms
Stay on top of how we are doing by reporting on our key metrics
Help build technology that is reusable for multiple REA business applications
Collaborate to set the strategic direction, scope, and success metrics for product initiatives
Build close partnerships across the business, understand how REA ticks and be an advocate and champion for financial services as you work and align with them
Bring the fun! Appreciated, finance at a bank is a bit of a yawn-fest- but we promise you we’re not like that; we’re looking to make something great with really great people
You will take and encourage a ‘whole of company’ approach to stakeholder management. You are a statesperson — who understands how tough it can be to operate at the 'coal face', and how important it is to think “company, team, individual”.
Work with the business to foster a good relationship and work with our Go To Market team to keep Brokers on top of any changes.
What we’re looking for…
Be consumer obsessed (#buzzwordbingo) – be proactive and curious to better understand the challenges to understanding and getting finance, and be passionate about solving those problems
A back end, technical Senior Product Manager who loves solving back end problems
However, we also want someone who able to think laterally, not everything is a technology problem and some consumer problems can be solved with some manual workarounds (for the time being!)
An excellent communicator and problem solver – can talk shop with the dev’s, chat with consumers and pitch a business case to senior management
Build relationships – it is the lifeblood of this business; with your team, across the group and with your product comrades in other areas of the company
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment, show some hustle
Don’t be scared – there is no blueprint for success here! We promote an experimental and love to fail quickly
A Senior Product Management who can engage and motivate others – experience working in a team and collaborating with our design and engineering folk
Strategic thinker – you can analyse and synthesise information on the market and connect the dots to determine an appropriate approach
