Senior Consultant - CFO Advisory (Federal Government)

Your new role
As a key senior member of the firm, you will be committed to developing meaningful relationships with the public sector clients through the delivery of expert and tailored advice. You shall support the Advisory Business, providing commercial quality management advice. You shall:

• Provide financial direction based on relevant, timely and accurate financial information in order to manage the risks and increase the value for shareholders
• Work with the Leadership Teams to translate strategy into an achievable execution plan, and drive and monitor that execution plan
• Partner with functional and management teams, identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers
• Prepare financial information, analysis for business reviews and presentations with key highlights
• Prepare and present board packs to Senior Management

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires an experienced individual who wants to add value to an organisation and enjoys partnering and influencing non-finance stakeholders. Someone who can work autonomously and be proactive while still offering support in a team environment. The following experience and attributes are ideal:

• CA or CPA Qualified
• Experience as a Management Accountant in a similar consulting environment or in the public sector
• Demonstrate strong analysis skills to offer support on commercial decisions
• Ability to build strong working relationships with key and diverse stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
• Organised and forward-thinking work ethic
