Senior Business Analyst

Your new company
One of the largest financial services providers in Sydney is looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to join their Risk Management Support Unit within the Risk Strategic Portfolio. The team ensures they have the appropriate strategies and frameworks in place to assess, manage and report on credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks.

Your new role
As a Senior Business Analyst within the Risk Strategic Portfolio, your immediate responsibilities will align to the delivery of the highest priority strategic initiatives underway across Risk Management. You’ll perform current state analysis of business capabilities spanning across the Risk function to identify and quantify opportunities and/or deficiencies in risk management policy and framework; governance and controls; operational processes & systems; risk reporting & modelling; and the credit management lifecycle (retail and non-retail), supported by relevant subject matter experts.

What you'll need to succeed
• Financial Services background
• 5 + years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience engaging with the business and working with stakeholders at all levels
• Previous risk management experience is highly regarded

What you'll get in return
This is a permanent position based in Sydney CBD, paying up to $140k + super dependent on experience.
